 Tania emigrated here just before the start of high school. She dove in, mastering the language, staying involved in her passion of theatre, yet also managing to fit in the Summer Search Leadership Development Program, The Dream Club, three other theatrical productions and the History Project – Sojourn to the Past in which she traveled and studied the U.S. civil rights movement. Tania wrote “I think the more prepared I am will enable me to have a greater impact in a society that is in need of leaders, which ignites my desire to help and encourage future generations of students who think college is out of their reach.” Tania will be studying at UC Berkeley this fall and exploring several career options, all of which have a strong people orientation. |
