Nitzia: Nitzia’s long-term goal is to become a registered nurse. Her interest in a medical career led her to volunteer at the Children’s Oncology Unit at the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital. The summer following, she applied for and was accepted to the prestigious and competitive Stanford Youth Medical Science Program. At East Palo Alto High School, (EPAHS), Nitzia is proud of her involvement as an Ambassador, recruiting middle school students to attend EPAHS. She also participates in the Girls for a Change Program and has taken advantage of EPAHS’s Early College Program taking classes at Cañada College. Nitzia will attend De Anza College.
