Miriam: Miriam has excelled in her advanced placement courses at Eastside College Preparatory School. Her influence on Eastside has extended beyond the boundaries of the classroom. She has participated in TEAM, an environmental leadership program; co-founded Step by Step, a social action club led by students; served as a student Ambassador, mentoring prospective Eastside students; and is an active member of her church. Through TEAM, Miriam attended summer programs in the Marin Headlands last summer. She was also selected as a research intern at UC Berkeley’s Neuroscience department. Miriam will attend Mills College which fulfills her dream of attending a liberal arts college.
