Deji has balanced a full class load at Woodside High School, the Team Captain’s position on the wrestling team in both his Junior and Senior years, a part-time job, and still he has been able to serve his community. Deji’s wrestling coach writes “The desire to help others and give back to his community is a true testament to his spirit and his unselfish character. Deji is also a part of MESA /AVID and offers support to new freshman at school. Deji is interested in pursuing nursing. He feels that he would be able to not only help someone physically get well, but also make sure they are doing well emotionally by being a positive and friendly person. Deji will attend UC Davis in the fall.
