“Caring, compassion, commitment and competence” are all words that Dalia’s teachers use when describing her.  Dalia was very involved at East Palo Alto Academy where she played on the soccer team, was a member of the Murals and Art team and part of student council.  All this and she still found time to work at Traders Joes for 27 hours per week.  Dalia has dreamt of going to college since she was a little girl so that she can get to know people from all over the world and take many different types of classes.  She will have this opportunity as she heads off to San Jose State this fall where she hopes to study Criminal Justice.
