 Cinthia may appear slight and quiet, but she has an inner strength, will, and faith that belie her physical appearance. An internship at the Redwood City Library where she designed and implemented a children’s reading program, teaching Bible School, babysitting, bilingual tutoring for local elementary students – all her extra-curricular efforts have been service-oriented. Yet, Cinthia also achieved academic honors in both Chemistry and Science. Her mentor says of her: “Cinthia stands out for her discipline and motivation to learn everything she can from her teachers and classmates.” We are confident she will achieve her career goal of becoming an obstetrician after she completes her undergraduate degree at Chico State. |
