 Curiosity, compassion, courage, responsibility, respect and integrity: Imagine someone who embodies all of these - Ana was named student of the year at Summit Prep for exemplifying all of these six core characteristics. Her math teacher says “She brings a positive energy to wherever she is.” Besides being a key component of Summit Prep’s championship girls’ soccer team, Ana earned the distinction of being World History Student of the Year and was a tutor in the YES reading program. As she goes off to Sacramento State , she says “I have a passion for working with children. I enjoy helping them and knowing I am making a positive impact on their education.” She hopes to become a child psychologist. |
