Roshana: One of Roshana’s teachers describes her as a “kind-hearted, hard-working young woman who always puts her best foot forward and approaches each task with a positive attitude.”  These are important traits for a person who gives back to her community like Roshana has done.  She volunteered at over 17 different organizations all of which support children or the local community in some way.  She was the winner of the Eastside Student Excellence Award and the Jefferson Award for Outstanding service.  Roshana feels that college will allow her to learn more about the world and share that knowledge with others who may not have the opportunity to further their education.  Roshana is a giver and no will no doubt make Mt. Holyoke a better place, much like she did at East Side College Prep.
