The East Side College Prep faculty have enjoyed watching Bryan grow from a extremely shy and quiet boy to a, “strong, confident scholar.”  Bryan hopes one day to become a successful engineer so that he can come up with a unique solution to the world’s complicated technological problems.  Majoring in engineering is not easy but fortunately Bryan has had a great role model.  Bryan spent much of his childhood looking up to his father who taught him the importance of hard-work and taking pride in one’s accomplishments.  Not only does Bryan excel in the classroom but also on the sports field where he played soccer, volleyball and ran cross-country.  His math teacher comments, “his seriousness of purpose around his education has become a force that is propelling him to not just succeed but excel.”  This will come in handy as he heads off to Occidental College in the fall.
